Job Summary:

Responsible for planning and preparing high-quality food for catering events, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, hygiene, and timely execution while managing kitchen operations and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute menus for weddings, corporate events, banquets, parties, and outdoor catering
Handle bulk food preparation while maintaining consistent taste and quality
Plan menus according to client requirements, event type, and budget
Supervise Commis, Helpers, and kitchen staff during food preparation and events
Ensure proper portion control, food presentation, and timely service
Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients
Coordinate with Catering Managers, Purchase, Stores, and Service teams
Control food costs, wastage, and raw material consumption
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and cooking equipment
Follow FSSAI and food safety standards
Develop new dishes and customize menus based on client preferences
Manage kitchen operations during large-scale events

Skills Required:
Excellent culinary and menu-planning skills




Expertise in bulk cooking and large-scale food production
Robust knowledge of Indian / Continental / multi-cuisine preparations
Valuable leadership and kitchen team management skills
Knowledge of food costing and portion control
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene
Ability to work under pressure and meet event deadlines

Qualification & Experience:
Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred
5–10 years of experience in catering, banquet, hotel, or large-scale kitchen operations
Prior experience as a Sous Chef / Catering Chef / Senior Chef preferred

Preferred Experience:
Experience in wedding catering, corporate catering, outdoor catering, banquet operations, institutional catering, or large events
Experience managing high-volume kitchens and large teams
Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine is an added advantage

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
