Position: Expediting Engineer

Location: Marol - Mumbai

Experience: 3 – 6 Year

Industries: Chemical - MNC

Responsibilities:
Monitor the status of purchase orders and supplier commitments.
Follow up with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely manufacturing, inspection, and shipment of materials and equipment.
Track procurement schedules and identify potential delays or risks.
Coordinate with procurement, engineering, quality, logistics, and project teams to ensure smooth material flow.
Review supplier progress reports and manufacturing schedules.
Expedite critical items to meet project milestones and deadlines.
Prepare expediting reports and provide regular updates to project management.
Resolve issues related to material shortages, production delays, documentation, and transportation.
Maintain accurate records of procurement and delivery status.




Participate in supplier meetings and performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and project specifications.

Required Skills:
Material expediting.
Logistics and shipment tracking.
ERP Systems (SAP, Oracle, etc), MS Excel.
Documentation and record management, contract and purchase order review.
Project scheduling and monitoring.
Time management, Coordination and relationship management, Attention to detail, Ability to work under pressure.

Required Qualification: -Diploma/B.E/B.Tech - Chemical/Mechanical

Salary: - Upto 7.00 LPA
