Position: Head Nurse / Nurse In-Charge

Location: Umayanalloor, Kollam (1.5 km from NH66)

Role Overview The Head Nurse runs the General Ward and daycare unit at the OP Clinic — performing and supervising minor procedures, maintaining ward hygiene, stock, records, and nursing discipline, and coordinating with doctors, staff, and front office. Accountable for ward quality, patient experience, and daily functioning.

Required Qualifications
B.Sc Nursing / GNM
Candidates must have valid Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council Registration
Minimum 8 years of hands-on clinical nursing experience
Prior exposure to team handling or supervisory responsibility is preferred

Key Responsibilities
Own daily clinical department operations
Oversee patient care and the 15-bed daycare — admission to discharge
Oversee inventory, billing entries, and payment plans
Maintain accurate records; accountable for all HMS data entry
Oversee department cleanliness and housekeeping
Drive process improvements
Prepare duty rosters
Escalate operational issues and staff concerns to Management

Reporting Structure
Reports directly to Branch Manager




Head Nurse will directly supervise 4 nursing staff, in addition to trainees

4 full time OP doctors
~30 employees across Operational Departments
A 15-bed daycare facility supporting OP services

Shift Timings
Morning Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Noon Shift: 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Evening Shift: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM
NO OVERNIGHT SHIFTS
