Candidates with approximately 5 10 years of experience in corrosion testing in sour setting, hands on experience in handling H2S gas and pressure systems. materials testing, metallurgical laboratories, or related engineering environments are preferred. Hands-on experience with corrosion testing techniques, metallography, microscopy, or laboratory-based materials evaluation will be considered an advantage.

Experience working in materials testing laboratories, R&D; settings, or industrial materials evaluation programs is desirable. Exposure to corrosion testing standards or laboratory testing procedures related to materials degradation is beneficial.

Desired Skills
Basic understanding of corrosion mechanisms affecting steels and structural alloys.
Familiarity with corrosion testing techniques such as SSC, HIC, or general corrosion testing is desirable.
Exposure to metallography, microscopy, or SEM-based microstructural characterization is desirable.




Basic understanding of degradation mechanisms such as hydrogen damage, corrosion-assisted cracking, or environmental degradation.
Familiarity with corrosion testing standards such as NACE, ASTM, or ISO standards is desirable.
Ability to analyze experimental data and support interpretation of corrosion behaviour.
Solid laboratory documentation and reporting skills.
Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams supporting corrosion testing, fracture mechanics, and materials characterization activities.
