Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Head of Production Flexible Packaging to manage and lead production operations at our plant in Odisha. The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, maintaining product quality, improving productivity, and ensuring smooth plant operations.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and monitor day-to-day production activities at the plant.
Plan production schedules and ensure timely achievement of production targets.
Lead and guide the production team to maintain efficient operations.
Ensure proper utilisation of manpower, machines, materials, and other resources.
Maintain required quality standards and reduce production wastage.
Identify production problems and take quick corrective actions.
Improve production efficiency,productivity, and overall operational performance.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, and other departments.
Monitor machine performance and support preventive maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and production procedures.
Prepare and review production reports, MIS,



and performance data.
Support cost-control and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Technical Knowledge

The candidate should have positive practical knowledge of:
Versatile Packaging manufacturing processes
Plastic Films
Aluminium Foil
Paper
Extrusion
Printing
Lamination
Production planning and process control
Quality and wastage control

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Plastics, Printing, Packaging, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience
Around 7 years of experience in Production.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior production leadership / Plant Head role in the Flexible Packaging industry.
Candidates with strong hands-on experience in versatile packaging manufacturing will be preferred.
