Key Responsibilities
Production Planning
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly production plans
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and shop floor teams
- Ensure optimal utilization of machines and manpower
Material Planning & Control
- Monitor raw material availability
- Raise material requisitions and track shortages
- Work closely with stores and purchase departments
Production Monitoring
- Track actual production vs planned targets
- Identify delays and support corrective actions
- Maintain production records and reports
Coordination
- Liaise between departments:
- Production
- Quality
- Purchase
- Dispatch
- Ensure smooth workflow and timely order completion
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain MIS reports, production logs, and schedules
- Update ERP systems (like SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Generate reports for management review

Technical Skills
- Knowledge of production planning concepts
- Basic understanding of textile machinery / manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Good Excel skills
