Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee day-to-day plant and manufacturing operations.
- Plan and achieve production targets as per business requirements.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and other resources.
- Monitor production processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and operational performance.
- Ensure products are manufactured according to defined quality standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, Production, and Logistics teams.
- Monitor plant expenses and control manufacturing and operational costs.
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective actions to minimize downtime and production losses.
- Ensure proper maintenance and availability of plant machinery and equipment.




- Monitor raw material availability, inventory levels, and material consumption.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, statutory, and company policies.
- Drive continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and process optimization initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, quality, cost, safety, and delivery.
- Manage and develop plant employees, supervisors, and production teams.
- Conduct performance reviews and identify training and development requirements.
- Investigate production issues, breakdowns, quality problems, and process deviations.
- Prepare and present plant performance reports to senior management.
- Ensure timely dispatch and achievement of customer delivery commitments.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, discipline, quality, and continuous improvement.
