Role & responsibilities

- Monitor and execute day-to-day production activities as per the approved production plan.
- Ensure production is carried out as per SOPs, BMR/BPR, GMP and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Maintenance, Warehouse and other departments for smooth production operations.
- Monitor manpower allocation, shift activities, machine utilization and production targets.
- Ensure proper handling and usage of raw materials, packing materials and finished products.
- Maintain production records, logbooks, BMR/BPR, checklists and other required documentation.
- Monitor process parameters and ensure compliance with approved operating procedures.
- Ensure proper cleaning, line clearance, equipment status and housekeeping in the production area.
- Identify and report production deviations, breakdowns, quality issues and process abnormalities to the concerned department.
- Support investigation of deviations, OOS/OOT and implementation of CAPA wherever required.
- Ensure minimum production wastage and optimum utilization of manpower and resources.
- Train and guide operators/workers regarding SOPs, safety, GMP and production activities.
- Monitor production output and prepare daily/shift-wise production reports.
- Support internal,



customer and regulatory audits by maintaining proper production records and compliance.
- Ensure timely completion of production activities as per the production schedule.
- Perform any other production-related responsibilities assigned by the Production Manager/Management.

Preferred candidate profile

- Qualification: B.Sc./B.Tech./Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, Pharmacy or relevant technical discipline.
- Experience: 12 years of experience in Production, preferably in Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Cosmetic, Personal Care or related manufacturing industries.
- Basic knowledge of GMP, SOPs, BMR/BPR, production documentation and safety procedures.
- Experience in handling production operations, manpower, machinery and process monitoring.
- Positive knowledge of production planning and achieving daily production targets.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, if required.
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with cross-functional departments.
- Candidates with experience in Pharma/Cosmetics/Skin Care manufacturing will be preferred.
