Job Description

Team Leader Wind PMC

The Team Leader Wind PMC will lead Project Management Consultant (PMC) monitoring and governance activities across utility-scale wind energy projects, ensuring effective oversight of Wind Turbine Generators (WTG), Balance of Plant (BoP), substations, grid infrastructure, commissioning, and project handover activities. The role is responsible for driving integrated site coordination, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, readiness assessments, and package-level performance monitoring to support protected, compliant, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Wind Package Leadership & PMC Governance

- Lead PMC oversight activities across wind package construction, commissioning, and handover phases.
- Direct PMC discipline priorities, resource deployment, and integrated site coordination activities.
- Ensure compliance with project governance requirements, performance targets, and reporting protocols.

Contractor & Stakeholder Coordination

- Coordinate contractors, OEMs, consultants, and Client representatives across roads, foundations, WTG erection, electrical works, energization, commissioning, and handover activities.




- Manage interfaces between multiple contractors and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and issue resolution.
- Support alignment of construction and commissioning activities with project milestones and operational readiness requirements.

Project Monitoring, Risk Management & Recovery Planning

- Review package risks, resource limitations, logistics constraints, crane utilization challenges, and project recovery plans.
- Monitor construction progress, commissioning readiness, milestone achievement, and forecasted completion schedules.
- Drive resolution and escalation of issues affecting WTG completion, grid readiness, and commissioning performance.

Performance Reporting & Client Advisory

- Consolidate technical, quality, HSE, planning, commercial, and supply chain recommendations for project leadership review.
- Provide verified package status assessments and readiness recommendations to the PMO Wind Lead.
- Prepare package performance reports, escalation summaries, risk registers, and recovery action recommendations.

Qualifications

Education

- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- Project Management qualification preferred.

Experience

- 15+ years of experience in renewable energy, wind power, infrastructure, EPC, PMC, or Owner's Engineer projects.




- Proven leadership experience on utility-scale wind construction and commissioning projects.
- Experience managing WTG, BoP, substation, grid infrastructure, and multi-contractor interfaces.
- Demonstrated experience leading project monitoring, governance, stakeholder coordination, and project delivery teams.

Certifications

- PMP Certification preferred.
- Training in WTG erection, high-risk lifting operations, and work-at-height activities preferred.
- OEM commissioning and Wind BoP interface training desirable.
- HSE leadership and construction management training preferred.
