Position overview: We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience to drive the development of a platform for pediatric home health services. You will lead technical design, manage key features, and ensure secure, scalable solutions, while working closely with a small, agile team to deliver high-quality results.

- Responsibilities: Lead the development of key features and ensure the platform's performance, scalability, and security
- Design and implement secure, efficient APIs to support seamless communication and data flow
- Optimize database performance and ensure compliance with healthcare data standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on technical and business requirements
- Manage deployment pipelines, ensure CI/CD best practices, and maintain system health through proactive monitoring
- Stay updated with the latest developments in PHP, Laravel, AWS, and healthcare technology

- Requirements: Extensive experience with PHP frameworks, particularly Laravel, focusing on modern development practices and keeping frameworks and dependencies up-to-date
- Strong skills in optimizing database performance, including query optimization and indexing,

- Expertise in designing and implementing secure RESTful APIs, employing authentication standards such as OAuth 2.0

- CI/CD and Monitoring Skills
- Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment processes, with experience in automating testing and deployment of applications

- Core Infrastructure Skills
- Solid experience in deploying, managing, and scaling applications using AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and CloudFront
- Proficient in managing cloud-based architectures, including EC2 instance setup, load balancing, and auto-scaling configurations
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) for efficient application deployment and management

- Nice to have: Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and familiarity with modern frameworks and libraries for collaborative full-stack development
