Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. HR Strategy & Workforce Planning
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with KTD’s growth plans.
- Support manpower planning for machining, production, quality, engineering, and support functions.
- Plan for future workforce needs based on orders, capacity expansion, and new capabilities.
2. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for operators, machinists, engineers, supervisors, and office staff.
- Build hiring pipelines through campus drives, technical institutes, job portals, and referrals.
- Conduct competency-based interviews and ensure cultural fit of new hires.
- Develop onboarding processes to improve new employee productivity and retention.
3. Training, Development & Skill Enhancement
- Create annual training plans based on ISO, AS9100D, and industry requirements.
- Coordinate technical, behavioral, safety, and quality training sessions.
- Identify skill gaps in machining, CNC operations, quality control, and leadership.
- Maintain training records for audits and compliance.
4. Performance Management
- Implement and manage performance appraisal systems (KPIs, KRAs).
- Support managers in goal setting, mid-year reviews, and corrective actions.
- Recognize high performers and support succession planning.
5. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Maintain a positive, safe, and productive work environment.
- Handle employee grievances, attendance issues, and disciplinary actions professionally.
- Organize employee engagement activities, welfare programs, and team-building events.
- Ensure effective communication between management and employees.
6. HR Policy & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws,
ESI, PF, minimum wages, and statutory requirements.
- Update HR policies in line with legal and organizational needs.
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits (ISO, customer audits, government inspections).
7. Payroll & HR Administration
- Oversee payroll processing, attendance systems, and shift schedules.
- Manage leaves, overtime, and salary revisions.
- Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
8. Health, Safety & Industrial Discipline
- Collaborate with safety officers to enforce workplace safety standards.
- Ensure employees follow PPE rules, shop-floor safety guidelines, and compliance protocols.
- Support health and wellness initiatives.
9. HR Reporting & Metrics
- Prepare monthly HR dashboards:
- Hiring status
- Attrition rate
- Training hours
- Attendance & overtime reports
- Present HR performance to the management team.
Experience
- 5–10 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or precision machining environments.
- Experience handling recruitment, training, compliance, and employee relations.
- Familiarity with ISO/AS9100D environments is an added advantage.
Skills
- Solid knowledge of HR laws and statutory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage shop-floor workforce and office teams.
- Good knowledge of HRMS/attendance systems, payroll coordination, and documentation.
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving ability.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
