We are looking for a QC Electronics Technician to join our team in Ahmedabad and ensure our electronic assemblies and hearing-aid devices meet the required quality and performance standards.
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable QC Electronics Technician who will be responsible for inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and quality verification of electronic assemblies, PCBs, components, and finished hearing-aid products.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of electronics, PCB assemblies, soldering, testing equipment, and quality inspection processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect assembled PCBs, electronic components, hearing-aid components, and finished products as per quality standards and technical specifications.
- Perform detailed visual inspections using microscopes or magnification equipment.
- Identify soldering defects, component damage, alignment issues, and other manufacturing defects.
- Conduct functional testing of electronic assemblies and finished products.
- Verify component placement, polarity, solder joints, and overall assembly quality.
- Operate testing and measurement equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, audio analyzers, and hearing-aid testing equipment.
- Record inspection results, test data,
and quality findings accurately.
- Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials and products.
- Support rework and repair activities, including component replacement, solder touch-ups, and defect rectification.
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to identify and resolve product-quality issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure products comply with company quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Follow ISO 9001 quality practices, ESD procedures, and workplace health and safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in electronics testing, quality control, PCB inspection, manufacturing, or a similar role.
- Good understanding of electronic components, PCB assemblies, soldering, and electronic circuits.
- Hands-on experience with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electronic testing equipment.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to read and understand basic electronic schematics.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in electronics manufacturing, medical devices, hearing aids, or consumer electronics will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) handling procedures.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Experience with PCB inspection and soldering quality standards.
- Basic understanding of audio/electronic testing systems.
