Maintenance Manager – Hospital Engineering & Facilities

Pi Health Cancer Hospital is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to take complete responsibility for the hospital's engineering, utilities, facility maintenance and critical infrastructure.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in electrical systems, DG/UPS, HVAC, plumbing, medical gases/oxygen systems, fire & life safety, water systems and building maintenance. Hospital experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day hospital engineering and maintenance operations.
- Ensure 24×7 availability of critical utilities, including electricity, oxygen/medical gases, water, HVAC and fire systems.
- Manage electrical systems, LT panels, DG sets, UPS and emergency power systems.
- Manage medical oxygen and medical-gas systems, including manifold, pipeline, pressure monitoring, backup and vendor coordination.
- Oversee HVAC, AHU, ventilation and air-conditioning systems.
- Manage plumbing, water supply, pumps, tanks, drainage and RO/water-treatment systems.
- Ensure preventive maintenance and timely breakdown maintenance of all infrastructure.
- Manage fire-fighting systems, fire alarms, pumps, hydrants and related safety systems.
- Coordinate building/civil maintenance and repairs.
- Manage AMC vendors, contractors and service providers.
- Maintain adequate critical spares and engineering inventory.
- Ensure all statutory inspections, certificates, licences and compliance requirements are up to date.
- Maintain maintenance logs, utility records, breakdown reports and preventive-maintenance schedules.




- Monitor utility consumption and identify opportunities for cost and energy savings.
- Develop emergency response plans for power failure, oxygen interruption, water failure, HVAC failure, fire-system failure and other critical breakdowns.
- Coordinate with clinical, nursing, administration and security teams to ensure uninterrupted patient care.
- Prepare monthly maintenance and utility reports for management.

Key Requirements

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil / related Engineering.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in hospital maintenance, healthcare facilities, commercial facilities or critical infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, medical-gas and fire-safety systems.
- Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Solid vendor and AMC management skills.
- Knowledge of applicable statutory and safety requirements.
- Ability to handle emergencies and work in a 24×7 hospital environment.
- Hospital/NABH experience will be an advantage.

What We Are Looking For

A hands-on Maintenance Manager who can independently take ownership of the hospital's engineering and utilities and ensure that no critical patient-care service is disrupted due to maintenance or utility failure.

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
