At Indiahikes, our Instagram page isn't just a gallery; it is India’s largest trekking community. With over 630,000 followers, our content is consumed by millions every week. We are looking for a creative, disciplined, and deeply hands-on individual to take this channel forward.

What this role entails:

You will be one of our voices and a visual storyteller of Indiahikes on Instagram. Your job is to marry the world of trekking with the world of digital content.x

Key Responsibilities

1. Content ideation and creation

- Ideate and produce high-quality content daily (Reels, Static Posts, Carousels, Stories).
- Ensure every piece of content meets the high aesthetic and editorial standards of Indiahikes.
- Translate complex trekking information into engaging, digestible, and valuable content for our community.
- Write compelling captions that hook the reader and drive conversations.

2. Discipline

- Adhere to deadlines strictly. At Indiahikes, a deadline is a promise. You must be able to manage your time so posts go out exactly when scheduled, without fail.

3. Growth and Distribution

- Go beyond "posting." Understand the science of content distribution—how to get our content seen by more people.
- Use data and analytics to understand what is working. Pivot strategies based on reach, engagement, and save metrics.
- Stay updated on platform changes (algorithm updates, current features) and implement them immediately to keep us ahead of the curve.

Who we are looking for

- A storyteller at heart: You understand that trekking is transformative. You can convey the emotion of a summit climb or the peace of a campsite through a screen.
- A content swiss army knife: You are proficient in shooting video, editing (Premiere Pro/VN/CapCut), and design (Canva/Photoshop).
- Highly organised:



You can juggle multiple content formats and campaigns without missing a beat or a deadline.
- Trekking aptitude: You don't need to be an Everest summiter, but you must love the outdoors. You need to understand the trekker’s mindset to create value for them.
- High-quality benchmark: You have a critical eye. You are your own harshest critic and will not let mediocre content leave your desk.
