Job Summary

Vcare Communication Private Limited is looking for a skilled and responsible CCTV Engineer with around 2 years of hands-on experience in CCTV surveillance systems. The candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of CCTV and related security systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, test, and maintain CCTV cameras and surveillance systems.
- Handle IP cameras, DVR, NVR, network switches, and related CCTV equipment.
- Perform CCTV cabling, termination, testing, and fault identification.
- Configure IP addresses, camera connectivity, recording, and remote monitoring.
- Troubleshoot camera, NVR/DVR, network, power, and connectivity issues.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure CCTV systems are functioning properly.
- Replace or repair faulty cameras, cables, power supplies, and other components.
- Configure CCTV systems for remote/mobile viewing when required.
- Coordinate with IT and networking teams for IP/network-related issues.
- Maintain installation records, service reports, and equipment details.
- Visit client locations for installation, maintenance, and technical support.
- Follow company safety and installation standards.

Required Skills

- Minimum 2 years of experience in CCTV installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.




- Good knowledge of IP CCTV and analog CCTV systems.
- Hands-on experience with DVR/NVR configuration and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, IP addressing, switches, and networking.
- Knowledge of CAT6 cabling, RJ45 termination, and cable testing.
- Ability to diagnose hardware and connectivity problems.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
- Willingness to travel to customer/client locations within Chennai and other locations when required.

Preferred Qualifications

- ITI / Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Experience with CCTV brands such as Hikvision, CP Plus, Dahua, or similar.
- Basic understanding of access control, video door phones, or other security systems is an advantage.
