Job Title: Technical Product Owner About the Role
We are looking for a technically-oriented Product Owner with hands-on experience in fast-paced gaming or igaming environments. The ideal candidate brings a strong engineering sensibility to product ownership — someone who can bridge architecture decisions with delivery outcomes, and thrives in data-driven, regulated, high-availability product ecosystems. Key Responsibilities Own and prioritise the product backlog with a solid technical lens, ensuring stories are well-defined, feasible, and aligned to platform capabilities
Work closely with engineering teams to define technical acceptance criteria, API contracts, and integration requirements
Translate complex platform or compliance constraints (RGS, gaming regulations, payment flows) into actionable delivery increments
Drive sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release management in close partnership with architects and dev leads
Evaluate technical trade-offs and contribute to solution design discussions — not just feature definition
Define and track KPIs covering platform performance, uptime, and product engagement metrics
Collaborate with QA, DevOps,



and data engineering teams across the full delivery lifecycle Required Experience 5+ years in a Product Owner or Technical BA role, with at least 2 years in a gaming, igaming, or betting organisation Strong familiarity with gaming platform architecture — RGS integrations, wallet systems, CMS, sportsbook or casino product layers
Hands-on experience writing technical user stories, API specifications, and system integration documentation
Proficiency in Agile/Scrum delivery; experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps
Working knowledge of data pipelines, event-driven systems, or real-time platforms is a strong advantage
Understanding of responsible gambling frameworks and gaming compliance requirements (UKGC, MGA) preferred What Sets You Apart You're equally comfortable in a sprint planning session as you are in a system design whiteboard
