Position Title: Commercial Manager – PET Preforms Division Location: Mumbai Experience Required: 8–12 Years Industry Preference: PET Preforms / Packaging / Beverage Manufacturing / FMCG Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field.
Role Overview: The Commercial Manager will be responsible for managing the complete commercial lifecycle of PET preform products, including lead generation support, pricing strategy, bidding, contract management, profitability analysis, and commercial risk mitigation. The role focuses on ensuring cost-effective supply chain operations for beverage manufacturing clients while maximizing organizational profitability and ROI. The candidate will play a strategic role in strengthening commercial operations, driving financial efficiency, and supporting business growth within the beverage and packaging ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Contract & Risk Management Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing structures, payment terms, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with clients and vendors. Monitor contract compliance and ensure adherence to agreed commercial terms. Identify and mitigate commercial risks, especially those related to raw material price fluctuations, supply disruptions, and market volatility. Review, evaluate, and approve commercial bids and proposals for large-scale beverage and packaging projects. Coordinate with legal and procurement teams for contract execution and compliance. Financial Oversight Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for the PET preforms business division. Monitor profitability, contribution margins, and ROI across customers and product lines. Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and industry benchmarks to maintain commercial competitiveness. Manage working capital efficiently, including receivables tracking,



collection cycles, and credit terms. Prepare MIS reports, financial dashboards, and business performance reviews for senior management. Strategic Planning & Business Support Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with evolving beverage industry trends, including sustainable and lightweight packaging solutions. Collaborate closely with sales, production, procurement, and supply chain teams to ensure demand fulfillment and inventory optimization. Support leadership with market intelligence, sales analytics, pricing insights, and commercial recommendations. Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and profitability. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, customers, bottlers, and packaging partners. Required Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of the beverage, bottling, packaging, or PET preforms industry. Expertise in commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract management. Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis. Knowledge of commercial risk assessment and supply chain economics. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and reporting tools. Preferred Candidate Profile Proven experience in commercial management or B2B sales within PET preforms, packaging, or beverage manufacturing sectors. Ability to manage large commercial accounts and strategic customer relationships. Robust negotiation and decision-making capabilities. Exposure to high-volume FMCG or beverage manufacturing environments will be an added advantage.
