Description

We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Lead to oversee our technical support team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality support services for our desktop users, managing a team of support technicians, and driving continuous improvement in support processes.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the desktop support team to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for desktop hardware and software issues.
- Coordinate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical problems.
- Develop and maintain documentation for support processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and standards in support operations.
- Train and mentor junior support staff to enhance their skills and efficiency.




- Monitor and report on team performance metrics and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Assist in the deployment of recent desktop technologies and upgrades.

Skills and Qualifications

- 4-10 years of experience in desktop support and 2+ Yrs in team Leading
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and network configurations.
- Familiarity with various hardware components and peripherals.
- Proficient in software installation and configuration, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or equivalent are preferred.
