The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for leading product design and development activities, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, and supporting manufacturing processes. This role requires strong expertise in CAD tools, GD&T;, and product engineering, with a focus on subsea structures and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of subsea structures, wellheads, tie-in systems, and workover equipment.

• Prepare and review engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation using SolidWorks/Inventor.

• Apply GD&T; principles to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, supply chain) to deliver robust product solutions.

• Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and lessons-learned sessions.

• Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and customer requirements.





• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to innovation projects.

Skills and Knowledge

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Automobile Engineering.

• Master's degree preferred.

Functional Skills / Key Competencies

• Strong knowledge of subsea product engineering and manufacturing processes.

• Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks, Inventor).

• Expertise in GD&T; and engineering drawing standards.

• Experience in product lifecycle management and requirements tracking (e.g., JAMA Connect).

• Familiarity with automation exposure (SCADA/HMI) and scripting languages (Python preferred).

• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in globally distributed teams.

Experience

• Total Experience: 6–10 years

• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 years in design engineering (subsea/mechanical systems preferred).
