Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test embedded firmware for various hardware platforms.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure system compatibility and performance.
- Debug and troubleshoot firmware issues in a timely manner.
- Document firmware design processes and maintain proper version control.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in embedded systems and firmware development.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics,
or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in embedded firmware development.
- Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++ and assembly language.
- Strong understanding of microcontrollers and embedded systems architecture.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and low-level hardware interfacing.
- Familiarity with debugging tools and techniques, including JTAG and oscilloscopes.
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, and CAN.
- Ability to work in a team setting and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
