About the role

The System Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software systems through rigorous testing. This role involves manual and functional testing, as well as API testing using tools like Postman and REST Assured.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct manual and functional testing of software applications.

- Perform API testing using Postman and REST Assured.

- Document and report defects, ensuring clear communication with development teams.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements.

- Execute test cases and evaluate results to ensure software meets specifications.

- Assist in the development and maintenance of test plans and test scripts.

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes.

Required qualifications





- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 0-3 years of experience in software testing.

- Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies.

- Experience with functional testing and defect tracking tools.

- Familiarity with API testing tools, specifically Postman and REST Assured.

Nice to have

- Knowledge of automation testing frameworks.

- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles.

- Experience with agile methodologies.

- Ability to work in a quick-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
