Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Package Consultant – ServiceNow with 8 to 12+ years of enterprise platform experience to drive complex implementations, developer operations, and platform maintenance across multi-node environments.

In this senior hands-on role, you will be responsible for solution design, advanced scripting, system integrations, and command-line system diagnostics. You will combine deep ServiceNow platform expertise with core DevOps tools (Git, Jira) and terminal utilities (PuTTY, Git Bash) to ensure high-performance delivery, secure infrastructure connectivity, and robust release management.

Key Responsibilities

- Enterprise Solution Architecture & Delivery: Design, configure, and deploy scalable enterprise workflows across ServiceNow platform modules, ensuring alignment with architectural best practices and client requirements.
- Integrations & Platform Engineering: Build and maintain secure integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Transform Maps, and MID Server configurations, connecting ServiceNow with external infrastructure and enterprise toolchains.
- Infrastructure Connectivity & Terminal Operations: Utilize command-line environments (Git Bash) and SSH clients (PuTTY) to access remote Linux/Windows servers, execute scripts, review system logs, troubleshoot MID Server deployments, and diagnose network/discovery connectivity issues.
- Agile Lifecycle & Defect Management: Lead platform release sprints and defect tracking through Jira, collaborating with cross-functional development teams, system administrators, and key business stakeholders.
- Version Control & DevOps Governance: Drive code management,



branch strategies, and update set deployments using Git repositories and ServiceNow source control integrations to maintain environment synchronization.
- Technical Leadership & Troubleshooting: Conduct root-cause analysis on critical platform defects, perform deep-dive log reviews, optimize database queries, and mentor mid-level engineers in delivery standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Core Experience: 8 to 12+ years of progressive development, administration, and implementation experience within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
- Core Technical Tooling:
- Platform: Advanced hands-on proficiency in ServiceNow configuration, GlideScript, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Business Rules.
- DevOps & Tracking: Extensive experience working with Jira for issue tracking, story mapping, and sprint delivery, along with Git/Git Bash for version control.
- System Diagnostics: Hands-on experience using terminal and SSH clients (e.g., PuTTY) to navigate server environments, inspect MID Servers, and perform network/port connectivity checks.
- System Integration: Proven expertise building REST/SOAP integrations and managing data imports/transformations.
- Infrastructure Knowledge: Strong understanding of operating system fundamentals (Linux/Windows), network protocols, web services, and enterprise security standards.
- Leadership & Communication: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a track record of leading technical reviews and technical delivery in an Agile environment.

Preferred Certifications

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in a major module (ITSM, ITOM, or ITAM)
