Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Package Consultant – ServiceNow specializing in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) to drive enterprise-level digital transformations. In this role, you will act as a core strategic link between business stakeholders, IT operations, and technical engineering teams.

You will lead initiatives to modernize Configuration Management Databases (CMDB), automate IT infrastructure Discovery, optimize full hardware and software asset lifecycles, and streamline operational workflows within the ServiceNow ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of enterprise domain expertise, data governance focus, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Requirements Engineering & Delivery: Partner directly with cross-functional business and technical stakeholders to analyze, refine, and translate complex requirements into actionable functional specifications, user stories, and delivery roadmaps.
- ITAM & ITOM Solution Management: Drive the implementation and enhancement of IT Asset Management (HAM/SAM) and IT Operations Management processes, including CMDB optimization, ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and event workflows.
- CMDB Data Governance: Establish and enforce stringent data quality metrics, reconciliation rules, and automated governance frameworks across the CMDB to ensure an accurate, single source of truth.
- Asset Lifecycle Strategy: Design and optimize end-to-end asset lifecycle management workflows—covering acquisition, provisioning, tracking, maintenance, compliance, and decommissioning.




- Stakeholder Alignment & Process Excellence: Facilitate workshops across IT Operations, Procurement, Security, and Business Units to champion ITIL best practices and align technical implementation with business objectives.
- Testing & Operational Readiness: Lead functional validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles, and user training to guarantee that deployed ServiceNow solutions meet high operational standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Core Industry Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst or Consultant leading enterprise ITSM, ITAM, or ITOM transformation initiatives.
- ServiceNow Domain Expertise: In-depth functional knowledge of core ServiceNow modules, specifically CMDB, Discovery, Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and Service Mapping.
- Framework & Governance Knowledge: Robust understanding of ITIL v3/v4 frameworks, asset management lifecycle principles, and IT infrastructure operations.
- Data Architecture & Analytics: Proven expertise in defining CMDB health metrics, data reconciliation, Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) logic, and operational reporting.
- Stakeholder Leadership: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and workshop facilitation skills, with a track record of driving consensus among leadership and technical teams.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical capabilities to map operational gaps, conduct root-cause analysis, and design sustainable ServiceNow process solutions.

Preferred Certifications

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Micro-Certification or Certified Implementation Specialist in ITAM, SAM, or ITOM
- ITIL v3/v4 Foundation or Higher
