Position Overview

We are seeking a Package Consultant – ServiceNow with a strong quality engineering background to drive quality assurance and automated testing across our ServiceNow enterprise ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings dedicated hands-on experience in testing ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) modules, alongside robust expertise in the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).

In this role, you will be responsible for validating business-critical ServiceNow configurations, building resilient automated test suites, ensuring robust ITAM/SAM/HAM process delivery, and working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to guarantee high-performance, defect-free platform deployments.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-End ServiceNow Testing: Plan, design, and execute functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing across enterprise ServiceNow applications, ensuring high alignment with technical architecture and functional requirements.
- Test Automation Execution: Leverage the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) to build, execute, and maintain automated test suites, speeding up release cycles and minimizing manual regression overhead.
- ITAM Module Validation: Perform deep-dive testing across IT Asset Management modules—specifically Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM)—validating lifecycle workflows, inventory management, licensing rules, and data accuracy.
- Defect Lifecycle Management: Log, track, triage, and re-test platform defects using modern test management and agile tools such as Jira,



collaborating directly with developers and system architects to ensure rapid resolution.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and IT Operations leads to understand business workflows, convert user stories into comprehensive test scenarios, and communicate quality metrics effectively.
- Process Excellence & Compliance: Ensure test documentation, test execution records, and compliance traceability meet strict organizational quality standards and governance frameworks.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Core Experience: Minimum 5+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience testing the ServiceNow platform within enterprise environments.
- ServiceNow ATF Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in configuring, executing, and maintaining test suites using the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- ITAM Domain Specialization: Direct experience testing ServiceNow ITAM solutions, with functional domain knowledge in Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and/or Software Asset Management (SAM).
- Defect Management Tools: Solid working knowledge of enterprise test management and tracking systems, particularly Jira or similar agile application lifecycle platforms.
- Testing Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum software development life cycles, regression testing techniques, and release management strategies.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of managing technical and business stakeholders effectively.

Preferred Certifications & Knowledge

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Micro-Certification in Automated Test Framework (ATF)
- ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation or Advanced Level)
