About the Opportunity
A growing player in the retail and manufacturing sector—specializing in textiles and soft toys—we’re scaling our financial operations to support rapid growth across India. Our Cost Accounting team sits at the heart of profitability, inventory control, and operational efficiency, partnering cross-functionally to turn cost data into strategic insights. We need a sharp, detail-oriented Cost Accounting Manager to strengthen our financial backbone and drive smarter decisions across the supply chain. Role & Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end cost accounting for manufacturing and retail operations, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
- Design and maintain cost allocation models across production lines, raw materials, labor, and overhead for accurate product costing.
- Partner with procurement, production, and logistics to track cost drivers and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Prepare monthly cost reports, performance dashboards, and inventory reconciliation for senior leadership and finance stakeholders.




- Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards (Ind AS) and internal controls for costing accuracy and audit readiness.
- Automate cost reporting using Excel, ERP modules (SAP/Oracle/Tally), and data visualization tools to improve speed and accuracy.
