Level – SM (12 – 18 years) Location – Bangalore Job Description - Senior Manager – CRE Governance & Compliance Role Purpose The Senior Manager – CRE Governance & Compliance is responsible for daytoday ownership and execution of the CRE governance framework, ensuring consistent compliance across CREWS operations in India and APAC. This role acts as the operational backbone of CRE governance, translating policy, legal guidance, and directorlevel intent into enforceable controls, processes, and reviews. Key Responsibilities 1. Governance Framework Execution Operationalize CRE governance policies, standards, and SOPs across all CREWS functions (Facilities, EHS, Security, F&B;, Transport, Asset Management). Ensure governance controls are embedded into businessasusual operations, approvals, and workflows. Maintain and periodically update CRE governance documentation, trackers, and compliance dashboards. 2. Regulatory & Statutory Compliance Management Track and monitor statutory compliance requirements for CRE operations across India and APAC. Coordinate with Legal and regional teams to ensure timely renewals of licenses, permits, and statutory filings. Identify compliance gaps early and drive corrective actions before escalation or audit impact. 3. Audit & Assurance Support Act as the primary SPOC for internal and external audits related to CRE and workplace services. Manage audit evidence collection, responses,
and closure of observations. Track audit issues, remediation plans, and closure timelines; report status to the Director. 4. Process Governance & Controls Review CREWS processes to ensure alignment with governance, risk, and compliance requirements. Validate that changes to processes, tools, or operating models follow approved governance paths. Support rollout of standardized governance processes across regions and service lines. 5. Stakeholder Coordination Work closely with CRE operations, Legal, Compliance, Security, EHS, and Finance teams. Provide governance guidance to regional and site teams without disrupting operations. Support the Director in preparing governance updates for leadership forums. Qualifications & Experience 12–15 years of experience in governance, compliance, risk, or CRE operations Solid exposure to real estate, facilities management, or workplace services in large enterprises Working knowledge of statutory, regulatory, and audit frameworks in India (APAC exposure preferred) Core Competencies Strong execution discipline Attention to detail and compliance rigor Audit readiness mindset Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and functions Success Measures Reduction in audit findings and repeat observations Ontime statutory and compliance closures Consistent governance adoption across CREWS functions
