Role: Broadcom / Workload Automation Specialist
Location: Hyderabad/Chennai/Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement Automic workflows for batch processing, application scheduling, dependencies, and event-driven automation.
- Develop and configure Automic objects including Jobs, Workflows, Notifications, Calendars, Events, and Variables.
- Design workflow integrations with root-cause alarms to enable automated execution of remedial scripts when infrastructure or application failures occur.
- Implement automated remediation solutions to improve platform availability and reduce manual intervention.
- Utilize Automic Automation as Code capabilities to manage and version automation objects across Development, Test, and Production environments.
- Manage job dependencies, scheduling, alerts, notifications, failure handling, and restart mechanisms.
- Support patching, system upgrades, and platform maintenance activities.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Automic workflows, job failures, scheduling issues, and automation-related incidents.
- Analyze and support database performance and related Automic platform issues.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, database, and operations teams to resolve technical issues.
- Follow appropriate change, release, and deployment processes while maintaining documentation and operational standards.





Mandatory Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Broadcom Automic / CA Automic Workload Automation.
- Experience in Workload Automation and Batch/Job Scheduling.
- Strong knowledge of Automic Jobs and Workflows.
- Experience configuring Notifications and Calendars.
- Hands-on experience with Automated Remediation and workflow integrations.
- Knowledge of Automation as Code and managing Automic objects across multiple environments.
- Experience with system upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of database performance and infrastructure/application dependencies.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Positive-to-Have Skills

- Shell / Bash / Power Shell / Python scripting.
- Experience with event-based scheduling and monitoring integrations.
- Knowledge of ITIL-based Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale production environments.
- Knowledge of Automic platform administration and agent management.

Education & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6 8 years of relevant IT experience, with significant hands-on experience in Broadcom/CA Automic Workload Automation.
