Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
HR OPERATIONS & PAYROLL
· Manage monthly payroll processing through HRMS, including attendance, leave, overtime, deductions and salary inputs.
· Maintain employee master data, personnel files and HRMS records.
· Handle complete employee lifecycle: joining, induction, confirmation, transfer, increment, promotion and exit.
· Prepare HR letters, employee records, HR MIS and management reports.
· Manage attendance, leave, absenteeism, overtime and employee queries.
· Coordinate with Accounts/Finance for accurate and timely salary processing.
· Coordinate with HRMS/payroll vendors for system support and improvements.
BLUE-COLLAR & CONTRACT WORKFORCE
· Manage recruitment and deployment of approximately 100 contract/blue-collar workers.
· Coordinate with labour contractors and recruitment agencies for manpower requirements.
· Ensure timely replacement of absentee/attrition-related manpower.
· Maintain contractor-wise manpower, attendance and workforce records.
· Coordinate worker joining formalities, documentation and induction.
· Work closely with Production/Supervisors to ensure adequate manpower availability.
STATUTORY & EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
· Coordinate applicable PF, ESIC, PT, Bonus, Gratuity and labour-law compliance with external consultants.
· Maintain statutory records and documentation.
- Coordinate labour contractor compliance and required documentation.
· Handle employee grievances, discipline and routine employee-relations matters.
· Support implementation of HR policies and procedures.
ADMINISTRATION & FACILITY MANAGEMENT
· Manage housekeeping, security, pantry/canteen, pest control and facility services.
· Coordinate maintenance, repairs, AMC and general facility requirements.
· Manage administrative vendors, contractors and service providers.
· Control office/factory consumables, stationery and administrative expenses.
· Ensure cleanliness, hygiene and proper upkeep of all locations.
TRAVEL & GENERAL ADMIN
· Handle flight, train, hotel and local transportation bookings for employees and management.
· Coordinate business travel, factory visits and customer/supplier visits.
· Maintain travel records and coordinate travel bills/reimbursements with Accounts.
· Manage general administrative requirements and management support.
RECRUITMENT, PERFORMANCE & TRAINING
· Recruit white-collar staff for Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, Accounts and other functions.
· Coordinate annual appraisal, increment and confirmation processes.
· Organise employee induction, training and engagement activities.
· Conduct exit formalities and maintain attrition records.
· Maintain recruitment pipeline and manpower planning.
HR MIS & REPORTING
Prepare regular management reports covering:
· Headcount & manpower status
· Contractor/blue-collar manpower
· Attendance & absenteeism
· Overtime & leave
· Recruitment & vacancies
· New joiners & exits
· Attrition
· Payroll inputs
· Training & appraisal status
· HR/Admin expenses
· Contractor and statutory compliance status
ADDITIONAL SME RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop and implement practical HR/Admin policies, SOPs and processes.
· Improve HR processes through effective use of HRMS and digital records.
· Support management in manpower planning and employee-related decisions.
· Coordinate with government/statutory authorities and external consultants.
· Maintain confidentiality of salary, employee and management information.
· Identify opportunities for controlling HR and administrative costs.
Requirements
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Education: MA/MCOM /MSC + PGDM – HR, MSW, MHRM or equivalent.
Experience: 4–7 years in HR & Administration, in manufacturing/engineering.

External: Labour contractors, recruitment agencies, statutory/HR consultants, vendors, housekeeping/security agencies and travel agencies.
ROLE OBJECTIVE
To act as the single-point HR & Administration owner for a ~150-person manufacturing organisation, ensuring accurate payroll, effective workforce availability, proper employee records, smooth HR operations, statutory coordination and efficient administration across two factories and one corporate office.
BenefitsSalary - Rs. 50 to 60 K per month
