Job Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage project team to define business and operational plan for the learning institute
- Manage and facilitate the development of the skilling institute from Day Zero
- Develop plans to achieve the overall scale and sustainability of the skilling institute over time: 1,000 student throughput
- Get hands dirty in setting up of the initial infrastructure and team with lean resources
- Provide strategic inputs for the expansion and implementation of the training programme
- Coordinate with various stakeholders of the skilling ecosystem such as MSDE, NSDC, SSCs, Government ministries, State Skill Development Mission.
- Develop a network of contacts including industries (for placement tie ups), subject matter experts, skilling experts, thoughtleaders, etc. for the benefit of the skill development centres
- Responsible for overall student admissions, recruiting a high-quality cohort of students
- Responsible for developing the technology roadmap of the institute
- Recruit all/any key personnel required for the skilling unit we will build towards a robust team supporting the director, but over time




- Formulate any agreement with vendors and third-party service providers related to skilling.
- Academic side and pedagogy will be run by a dean or equivalent only general oversight of this is expected
- Overall responsibility for capital and revenue expenditure, and ensuring Institute finances are prudently managed to budget

Candidate Requirement:

- MBA/PGDM (preferably from reputed institute)
- Overall experience of 20+ years with minimum of 5 years in leadership roles with at least some experience in skilling/education
- Financial services experience is a plus, but not essential
- Recent retirees from BFSI industry with proven record of skill/capability building and/or business building experience
- Candidates are expected to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated track record in drive, motivation and attention to detail
- Proven experience in showing initiative and working effectively without close supervision and oversight
