Position: Accounting Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $130–$160/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

- Design precise grading criteria for real-world accounting tasks such as reconciliations, close packages, and financial statements.
- Score AI-generated and human work samples with detailed justifications for each score.
- Apply consistent, evidence-based judgment to ensure scores are reproducible and defensible.
- Incorporate feedback from senior reviewers and iterate quickly on your work.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

- 5+ years of skilled accounting experience.
- Background in audit, assurance, or advisory at leading global accounting firms.




- CPA or equivalent professional certification strongly preferred.
- Deep fluency in US GAAP application, month-end close, and financial statement preparation.
- Exceptionally strong written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and comfortable having your judgment reviewed.

Preferred

- Prior experience with AI training, evaluation, or human-data projects.
