Job Title: Music Partnerships Manager / Strategic Partner Manager – Music Content & Business Development

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day relationships with key music labels, publishers, and entertainment partners.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with strategic partners and stakeholders.
- Lead music and label partnerships and develop initiatives to drive product adoption and engagement.
- Identify and execute strategic growth opportunities with music partners.
- Optimize the overall health and performance of commercial music and publisher partnerships.
- Work closely with Facebook, Instagram, Whats App, product, media partnerships, and other cross-functional teams to develop a comprehensive music strategy.
- Analyze partner performance data to identify trends, challenges, and growth opportunities.
- Prepare data and budget reports highlighting key insights and business trends.
- Manage regular data tracking, reporting, and partner performance processes.
- Support contracts, payments, purchase orders, invoices, and other partnership-related administrative activities.
- Maximize communication, education, data management, reporting, payment, and partnership growth activities.
- Develop and execute programs with music labels and publishers around key product and business launches.
- Collaborate with partners to develop and execute campaigns based on contractual requirements.
- Proactively identify and resolve operational issues affecting partners.
- Act as an internal advocate for partners and promote best practices across teams.
- Provide deep insights into the Indian music ecosystem and partner landscape to senior leadership.




- Navigate complex cross-functional environments and build strong internal relationships.
- Influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively to achieve business objectives.

Required Qualifications

- 7+ years of experience in the music, entertainment, digital media, or related industry.
- Strong understanding of the Indian music ecosystem and industry dynamics.
- Extensive knowledge of digital business models and technology.
- Proven experience in strategic partnership management and relationship management.
- Experience managing and growing strategic partners through direct relationships.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to derive actionable business insights.
- Ability to prepare and interpret data, budget, and performance reports.
- Strong understanding of commercial partnerships, contracts, payments, POs, and invoices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working in large, cross-functional organizations.
- Robust organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, independent, and solution-oriented approach.
- Ability to quickly learn and develop expertise in new areas.
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
