Job Description Background of role:

nAs an Associate Vice President in Fund Accounting-Private Equity team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end client’s reporting cycle. This role involves managing complex fund structures, leading teams, ensuring accurate NAV calculations, investor reporting, and compliance with regulations. It requires strong technical accounting skills, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of private equity fund operations.

nThe role is a valuable blend of teamwork and quality services.

nThe ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the product life cycle traded by Private Equity client and the reconciliation associated with those products. Individual having fair understanding of Listed products is an added advantage.

nThe role will also require the ability to work under tight deadlines, maintain quality delivery as per standard operating procedures along with excellent communication skills.

- Oversee end-to-end fund accounting cycle across PE, Private Credit and Hedge Fundsn
- Oversee and Review of Financial Statements and regulatory reportingn
- Ensure deliverables adhere to agreed SLAs, SOPs, and control frameworksn
- Act as escalation point for complex client queries and operational issuesn
- Liaise directly with clients through calls and emails and build strong working relationshipsn
- Drive process improvements, automation and operational efficienciesn
- Participate actively in hiring process including screening, interviews and talent selectionn
- Support business growth initiatives and assist in scaling operations for new mandatesn
- Contribute to knowledge building across asset classes by conducting internal training and building SMEsn
- Develop and maintain SOPs, checklists, training material and knowledge repositoryn
