Job Description● Manage end-to-end accounting for Australian clients
n● Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
n● Perform bank, credit card, loan, and balance sheet reconciliations
n● Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
n● Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments
n● Manage month-end and year-end closing activities
n● Finalize books of accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records
n● Prepare workpapers and supporting schedules for year-end compliance and tax requirements
n● Prepare and review BAS (Business Activity Statements) and IAS (Instalment Activity Statements)
n● Ensure GST compliance and reconciliations




n● Assist in payroll processing and superannuation reconciliations
n● Prepare management reports, cash flow reports, and financial analysis
n● Coordinate with Australian accountants, tax agents, and clients for reporting requirements
n● Work extensively on Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and other cloud-based accounting software
n● Review accounting records, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions
n● Mentor junior team members and review their work for accuracy and compliance
