nTEACHING AND LEARNING RESPONSIBILITIES-

- Demonstrate a genuine passion for History and inspire students to understand its relevance.n
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to different learning abilities.n
- Use effective teaching methods, including Audio-Visual aids, maps, timelines, primary sources and digital resources.n
- Develop students' critical thinking, analytical and research skills.n
- Encourage students to analyse and interpret historical events,



sources and perspectives.n
- Provide additional academic support and revision sessions when required.n
- Assess, record and monitor student progress as per school guidelines.n
- Promote positive behaviour and build strong, respectful relationships with students.n
- Stay updated with developments in History and modern teaching practices.n

nPROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS-
n
- n
- Master's Degree in History along with B.Ed. or relevant teaching qualification.n
- 3+ years of relevant teaching experience preferred.n
- Strong knowledge of Indian and World History.n
- Ability to teach History at the Senior Secondary level (Classes XI–XII).n
- Robust communication, classroom management and student engagement skills.n
- Ability to develop students' analytical, research and critical-thinking abilities.n
- Experience with CBSE Board preparation will be an advantage.n
