nAbout the role:
nThe purpose of the role is to collaborate with the unit team to improve and sustain quality systems and capability development at the unit level and ensure end to end quality of raw material, packaging material, liquids and finished goods
nTYPICAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS
nQualification
nPost Graduate caliber or equivalent - preferably in Chemistry/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Bio-technology/Food technology/DIFAT
nExperience
n6-8 years of experience in the areas of Quality Assurance and Quality Systems on Food Processing / FMCG –Distillery, Brewery and Beverage Industry
nKnowledge & skills
n

- Hands on experience and in-depth knowledge of quality management systems, developing quality related SOPs and its controln
- Experience in handling quality improvement projectsn
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office packagen
- Certified lead auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 22000, etc.n

n1. Quality Operations

- n
- Play a pivotal role as unit quality manager in collaboration with unit team to improve and sustain quality systems and capability development at unit leveln
- Carry out end of the line inspection of all finished goods at the unit as per UFPS standardsn
- Conduct RM/PM inspection as per standards and sensory evaluation of samplesn
- Lead root cause problem solving investigations for issues that occur on quality at unitsn
- Responsible for capability development of unit quality team on quality standardsn
- Engage unit quality teams for the implementation of quality standardsn
- Ensure all regulatory requirements to be complied without any deviationsn
- Responsible for planning and conducting periodic Internal Audit, MRM for FSMSn
- Take appropriate action/approval for QC hold/under dev
