Job DescriptionSummary Job Description: This person will work closely with the regional teams to provide technical and analytical support for Customs and trade compliance matters in Greater Asia, analysing import/export data to identify risks and savings opportunities, drive compliance, and assist our internal and external stakeholders as needed. The Manager will support the development and maintenance of the trade compliance program, managing compliance activities, including restricted party screening and anti-boycott reporting, and facilitating employee training programs on trade compliance matters.

- Serve as the first POC for Trade Compliance matters for Greater Asia regionn
- Support embecta’s Trade Compliance GPO (Global Process Owner) in programmatic development and maintenance globally.n
- Manage regional compliance activities, including restricted party screening and anti-boycott reporting.n
- Facilitate employee training programs on trade compliance.n
- Support implementation of auditing & monitoring compliance programs.n




- Support Global Broker strategy and RFQ.n
- Manage regional customs brokerage partners, including KPI’s, Metrics, and quarterly business reviews.n
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and compliance with all regulatory requirements.n
- Support forecasting and management of trade related cost and transactions.n
- Support implementation of the SAP modules and integrations required for best-in-class trade operations.n
- Determine HTS classification, Export Control Classification and Country of Origin.n
- Support in managing duty mitigation programs including Inward Processing, Intrastat and Free Trade Agreementsn
- Consolidate and analyze import/export data to identify risks or opportunities for savingsn
- Develop corrective action plans based on finding and follow actions through until complete.n
- Develop KPIs, monitor metrics and performs periodic performance reviews
