Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with architects, designers, developers, and corporate clients, and expanding Waulté’s market presence in furniture, storage, kitchen, and wall paneling solutions. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and lead generation, conducting client meetings and product presentations, preparing proposals and quotations,



and negotiating commercial terms. The Business Development Manager will collaborate with internal design, operations, and marketing teams to ensure client requirements are met, monitor market trends and competitor activity, and report regularly on sales performance and pipeline status.
Qualifications
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within interiors, furniture, construction, or related industries.
Strong skills in client relationship management, networking, and stakeholder engagement.
Ability to identify market opportunities, develop sales strategies, and close deals effectively.
Solid communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
Comfort with CRM tools, sales reporting, and basic data analysis to manage pipelines and track performance.
