Role Description The 3D Generalist will work on-site at Pompee VFX Animation Studios in Kochi in a full-time capacity. Responsibilities include building and optimizing 3D assets, creating and refining textures and materials, and setting up lighting to achieve visually appealing scenes. The role also involves rigging characters and props for animation, producing smooth and expressive animations, and ensuring assets are production-ready for integration into VFX and animation pipelines. The 3D Generalist will collaborate with directors, VFX supervisors,



and other artists, respond to feedback, and maintain consistent quality and deadlines across multiple projects.
Qualifications
Solid proficiency with 3D tools such as Blender and familiarity with common VFX and animation pipelines.
Demonstrated skills in rigging for characters and props, including creating controllable and efficient rig setups.
Experience in lighting and rendering, with the ability to create mood, depth, and realistic or stylized visual results.
Proven ability in texturing and shading, including UV mapping and creating detailed, high-quality materials.
Solid animation skills, including keyframe animation, timing, and motion for characters and objects.
Attention to detail, strong artistic sensibility, and the ability to interpret creative direction and feedback.
