Summary:

We are seeking a MATLAB Testing Engineer to support model-based verification for BCM application software and automotive body electronics features. This role involves MATLAB/Simulink test case development, MIL/SIL execution, test harness creation, coverage analysis, defect reporting, regression testing, and collaboration with development and validation teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop, execute, and maintain MATLAB/Simulink-based test cases for BCM application software and automotive body electronics features.
Analyze system, software,



and model requirements to derive requirement-based test scenarios, test cases, expected results, and verification criteria.
Perform Model-in-the-Loop and Software-in-the-Loop testing for Simulink and Stateflow models used in BCM functions such as lighting, wiper, washer, central locking, power windows, mirrors, horn, and body access features.
Create test harnesses, simulation environments, input stimulus data, signal monitoring logic, and automated regression test suites using MATLAB and Simulink tools.
Perform model coverage analysis, requirement coverage checks, test result analysis, defect logging, and retesting after model or software fixes.
Support debugging of failed simulations by analyzing signals, state transitions, data flows, boundary conditions, timing behavior, and interface mismatches.
Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, test results, defects, and verification evidence as per project process expectations.
