Role Description The Commi Pastry Chef role at MITTI Café is a full time, on-site position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area.



The Commi Pastry Chef supports the pastry section by preparing, baking, and finishing a variety of desserts, breads, and baked goods according to standardized recipes and quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with ingredient preparation, operating baking equipment, maintaining hygiene and food safety, and ensuring consistent presentation of products. The role also involves coordinating with the kitchen team, managing mise en place, monitoring stock levels for pastry ingredients, and contributing to menu development under the guidance of senior chefs. The Commi Pastry Chef is expected to uphold MITTI Café’s values of inclusion, teamwork, and high-quality service while working in a supportive, diverse environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Bakery and Baking skills, including preparation of basic breads, cakes, pastries, and desserts.
