Role Description The Safety Officer is a full-time, in office role based in the Pune Division. This role is responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and security standards across facilities and operations. Day-to-day tasks include conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, supporting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company policies. The Safety Officer will investigate incidents and accidents, maintain safety records, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
The role also involves delivering safety trainings, promoting a strong safety culture among team members, and collaborating with operations, HR, and management to continuously improve workplace safety.
Safety Officer - Education & Experience
Education:
- Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS)
- Additional certifications in Fire & Safety, First Aid.
Experience:
- Experience in Industrial Safety operations in manufacturing industries.
- Hands-on experience in Safety Audits, Risk Assessment, PTW, Toolbox Talks, Incident Investigation, Fire Safety, PPE compliance, and statutory requirements.
- Experience in coordinating with contractors and ensuring safe work practices at site.
- ISO Audit documents knowledge
- Factory daily round and identify the risk & take appropriate action
- Investigate and complete the Incident / accident form & ensure action completed
