Job Summary :

We are looking for Director- Planning & Development with robust hands-on experience in civil construction and contracting to lead the planning, tendering, budgeting, execution, and completion of large-scale construction projects for a reputed institution based in Pune.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of civil construction projects from site mobilization and excavation through foundation, RCC/structural works, finishing, commissioning, and handover.
Lead and oversee tendering activities, including tender preparation, BOQ review, estimation, contractor evaluation, technical/commercial comparison, negotiations, and finalization.
Develop project execution plans, schedules, milestones, resource plans, and project control mechanisms.
Prepare and monitor project budgets, cost estimates, cash flows, BOQs, quantity variations, cost forecasts, and cost control measures.
Manage contractors, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure effective contract administration,



including work orders, billing, variations, claims, contractor performance, and commercial negotiations.
Oversee construction activities including excavation, foundations, RCC, structural works, masonry/AAC blockwork, internal and external plastering, waterproofing, flooring, finishing, façade, and MEP coordination.
Monitor project progress against approved schedules and implement recovery plans for delays and critical path deviations.
Ensure compliance with construction safety standards, EHS requirements, safety precautions, quality standards, and statutory regulations at project sites.
Handle or coordinate government liaisoning and statutory approvals, including building permissions, NOCs, inspections, completion/occupancy requirements, and coordination with relevant authorities.
Coordinate with Civil, Structural, MEP, Architecture, Procurement, Finance, Planning, and Site Execution teams.
