Role Description
The Software Quality Analyst is a full time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.
The person in this role will design test plans, create test cases, and perform manual and automation testing to verify the functionality, usability, and reliability of IoT monitoring and analytics applications.
Daily responsibilities include executing tests, logging and tracking defects, collaborating with developers and product teams to resolve issues, and validating fixes before release.
The Software Quality Analyst will also help refine quality assurance processes, contribute to documentation of test results, and support continuous improvement of software quality across projects.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Test Execution and Software Testing to validate product features and system behavior.
Candidates should possess skills in Software Quality and Quality Assurance to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
Candidates should possess skills in Manual as well as Automation Testing to perform detailed functional, regression, and exploratory tests.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in identifying and documenting defects.
Knowledge regarding Power/Energy sectors.
Familiarity with EMS (Energy Management Systems), SCADA systems, Real-time monitoring and control, Data Communication protocols, etc..
Experience with bug tracking tools and test case management systems is preferred.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
