Purpose of the Role

The Battery Pack Product Owner is accountable for the end-to-end definition, delivery, and lifecycle management of one or more battery pack products across Agratas’ targeted markets (e.g., Passenger Vehicle (PV), Commercial Vehicle (CV), and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)). The role acts as the central integrator across systems engineering, design engineering, cell, BMS, manufacturing, and commercial functions, ensuring delivery of competitive, secure, compliant, and cost-effective battery pack solutions aligned to customer and business needs.

In addition to owning the battery pack product, the role is responsible for defining, managing, and coordinating Battery Management System (BMS) requirements, feature content, integration activities, and delivery execution to ensure successful deployment of complete battery system solutions.

Key Responsibility Areas

Customer Interface and Technical Leadership

Function as the main customer interface for technical battery system topics with the Agratas Program Management team.




Lead cross-functional alignment across Pack Engineering, BMS, Cell, Manufacturing, Systems Engineering, and Quality.
Lead customer and supplier meetings with relevant engineering leads on battery system technical topics.
Communicate development progress and lead resolution of technical concerns with engineering teams and suppliers.
Provide technical leadership for battery system integration, including battery pack and BMS customer requirements.
Act as the primary escalation point for customer concerns and technical trade-off decisions.

Development Planning and Execution

Drive product trade-offs across cost, performance, safety, manufacturability, serviceability, and scalability.
Own product KPIs including cost, energy density, reliability, safety, and feature maturity.
Plan and monitor battery pack and BMS development against program milestones.
