What You’ll Do

You'll work across multiple areas of finance while owning operations end-to-end. Here are some things we'd want you to help lead and execute:

Keep the Books & Reconciliations in Order
● Own day-to-day accounting entries and ensure books are accurate and up to date.
● Reconcile sales across Shopify, marketplaces, payment gateways and COD.
● Manage bank, credit card, payment gateway, vendor, customer and debtor reconciliations.
● Track refunds, reimbursements, invoice registers and supporting documentation.
● Identify discrepancies, investigate them and drive them to closure.
Manage Payments & Vendor Accounting
● Track vendor dues, payment schedules and advances.
● Prepare vendor payment runs and supporting documentation.
● Maintain accurate vendor ledgers and follow up on outstanding items.
● Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve payment and accounting queries.
Own Marketplace & Quick Commerce Reconciliations
● Reconcile settlements across marketplaces and Quick Commerce platforms.
● Track claims, deductions,



shortfalls and other settlement discrepancies.
● Follow up with platform teams and ensure outstanding issues are resolved and accounted for correctly.
Support Month-End & Reporting
● Support the month-end close through accruals, prepaid schedules and provision workings.
● Maintain inventory and COGS workings.
● Support monthly P&L; and MIS preparation.
● Pull and organize financial data for management reporting and business reviews.
● Ensure reconciliations and supporting schedules are complete and ready for review.
Stay on Top of Compliance & Audit
● Track GST, TDS and other statutory filing timelines and follow up on pending requirements.
● Maintain clean, organized and audit-ready documentation.
● Support statutory audits by preparing schedules, workings and supporting documents.
● Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to close audit and compliance requirements on time.
