Veena is an AI powered DAW that helps people make music. We are now hiring an AI Engineering Intern to work on the data and AI layer underneath it.

This role sits between engineering, data curation, and music. You will write real pipelines, you will decide what goes into our datasets, and you will need an ear to judge whether the result is any good.

What you will do
Build and run agentic AI workflows: multi step LLM pipelines, tool use, evals, and the glue that makes them reliable instead of flaky.
Curate and maintain datasets that our in house models train on.
Write data cleaning and preprocessing pipelines for audio and other media, including format normalization, silence trimming, feature extraction, metadata enrichment, and quality filtering at scale.
Turn messy, inconsistent, real world files into something a model can learn from.

Who we are looking for?

Someone who
Has graduated university (1-2 years of experience) already.




is comfortable with Python and with building data pipelines that run on large data.
has hands on experience with agentic AI or LLM workflows. Personal projects count. Show us what you built.
is genuinely positive at data curation. You care about label quality, edge cases, and class balance, and you notice when something is off.
is familiar with audio processing basics such as sample rates, bit depth, loudness, stems, and loops versus one shots.
has an understanding of AI training workflows, embeddings, and audio ML libraries.
Bonus - you produce music yourself.
