Job Description

An SAP Delivery Lead is a senior project management role responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of SAP implementations, upgrades, and transformation initiatives.

Core Responsibilities
The SAP Delivery Lead manages comprehensive project delivery activities, including:
Project & Program Management: Leading the complete delivery lifecycle from planning through cutover, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budgets. This involves defining project scope in collaboration with key stakeholders, managing project milestones and dependencies, aligning project delivery to contractual commitments, and monitoring delivery performance through metrics and status reporting.
Team & Vendor Coordination: Managing consultants, external partners, and offshore resources to ensure effective collaboration and accountability. The role includes overseeing solution design, fit-gap analysis, functional specifications, testing strategy, and go-live planning. The delivery lead is responsible for timely identification and resolution of delivery issues and risks




Stakeholder Management: Working closely with Business Process Owners, PMOs, and other domain leads to align delivery with operational needs. This includes translating delivery progress into transparent updates for senior stakeholders and serving as the escalation point for critical issues.
Governance & Strategy: Driving project governance, delivery strategy, and ensuring adherence to SAP Activate or Agile delivery methodologies. The role may also involve supporting pre-sales activities and RFP responses when required.
Required Experience & Qualifications

SAP Delivery Lead requires:
Experience: Between 5 to 8+ years of total SAP experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a delivery or project management role.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of SAP BTP, SAP S/4HANA (on-premise or cloud) and associated technologies. Experience managing end-to-end SAP implementations or large-scale rollouts ac
