Vedanta’s Aluminium business has embarked on a transformational journey to be amongst the top three global players with 3 MTPA capacity. Its subsidiary, BALCO, comprising 5.7 LTPA smelter and 1740 MW power generator, is currently poised to scale-up by 4.35 LTPA, taking the total aluminium production capacity to 1 MTPA.
