About The Role

We are seeking a talented and autonomous Animator to join our dynamic team working on a high-profile VR game project built in Unity for standalone headsets. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality character and weapon animations, rigging assets in Blender, and integrating them seamlessly into Unity. Your work will directly influence the visual fidelity and gameplay feel, requiring a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently from concept to in-game implementation.



The ideal candidate will have a passion for VR gaming, a solid understanding of animation pipelines, and the ability to deliver optimized assets within strict performance constraints.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a solid portfolio demonstrating hand-keyed character and weapon animations, along with experience rigging and skinning in Blender. Proficiency in Unity’s Animator system, including state machines, transitions, blend trees, and avatar setup, is essential. Candidates must have a minimum of one full production cycle of animation work, with the ability to take ownership of assets from concept to implementation. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are required. Additionally, familiarity with FBX pipelines, performance optimization, and working within Unity 6 projects is highly desirable. A proactive, self-driven attitude and the ability to troubleshoot
