Role Overview

We are looking for a Backend Developer with 1-2 years of experience in Java or Python to build scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend systems. You will collaborate with frontend/mobile developers, product teams, and other engineers to develop APIs and services that power user-facing products.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java or Python.
Build scalable and maintainable server-side components.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases and write efficient queries.
Debug production issues and improve application performance and reliability.
Write clean, modular, testable, and well-documented code.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and engineering best practices.
Collaborate with frontend, mobile, product, and other cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1-2 years of professional backend development experience.
Strong programming skills in either Java or Python.




Experience building REST APIs and backend services.
Valuable understanding of data structures, algorithms, OOP, and software engineering fundamentals.
Working knowledge of SQL and databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL; exposure to NoSQL is a plus.
Familiarity with Git and version control.
Good debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Good to Have

For Java: experience with Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
For Python: experience with Django, Flask, FastAPI, or similar frameworks.
Exposure to caching, message queues, cloud platforms, microservices, or containerization.
